Supporting Faith, and Hope Through Global Outreach

Providing a Place to Worship

Bongikosi Zsandasara (BZ) was in prayer one day asking God, in Jesus Name, to give him a place to preach.  In his journey a door was opened to the Tonga people.  During a time of fellowship, he sang a praise song in the Tonga language.  In a moment of elation and inspiration, they asked BZ to build a church and gave him the land!  That can only be granted by tribal authority!

BZ has dual citizenship in the US and Zimbabwe.  We met in manufacturing the South Bend, In area.  His love for God and joy with people has always stood out.  He is a child of tribal influence and also of the western world.  His academic achievements include a Bachelors of Theology, Masters of Divinity and A Doctorate in Philosophy.  We stayed in touch over the years.  When he shared story of the Tonga I had to go see.  As a result of this trip, Equip Missions Inc was created to undergird the supervision and construction of Binga Christian Center.  We are committed to see this project through.  We are trusting God for $170k US which includes a 150 seat sanctuary, 10,000 liter water tower, well, restroom facilities, fence and its powered by solar.  The location is Binga, Zimbabwe!

If you have any thought at all to support...please do!  The donate button above works with debit/credit cards.  Thank you so much for your consideration and desire to bring Christ to the Tonga!

The Tonga trip and More

The Tonga tribe has 17 chiefs.  The town of Binga is under Chief Siachilaba and has an elder named Matthias.  We have been shown great favor with the people and leadership.  We are looking forward to the completion of Binga Christian Center (BCC) and beyond!  World Missionary Press in New Paris, IN donated 10 lbs of gospel tracts for the journey .  Thirty hours one way of flight time and 12 hr drive from Bulawayo and we arrive in Binga! (7 hours if the rains don't wash the road out) On the first day we arrived a fishing accident claimed the life of a man 7km from where we stayed.  Fishing is the main source of food and employment in the area.  These waters are also filled with crocodiles and hippos.  The type of work life hazard that has created many fatherless homes in the region.  Equip Missions Inc will be partnering with Tabula Rosa (Clean Slate) to provide funds for employment and infrastructure in the region...but that's phase 2.  Our first goal is a house of worship for the believers in the area!  Below are opportunities for the future and paths we will explore.  With your help, we can make it happen!
